Well they say 'A picture is worth a thousand words'... and I have one for you! I needed to replace our oven after 18 years so it was a search to find a new oven for the existing opening. Then to find one with the features what you like to use. After much deliberation and measuring, we finalized our decision on the Frigidaire - 30" Single Wall Oven with Fan Convection. We are pleased that it looks great with our old microwave built-in above it and the existing warming drawer below. It's working well; evenly baking a quiche and a pizza so it's not necessary to rotate the dish. My learning problem is that the oven turns off after baking time set. I like to check on my cookies to make certain they are baked enough and don't like that I have to go through a digital process of resetting the temp. to continue baking. After some deep thinking I've come up with a 'cook time' and 'timer' combination that works for me and is doable! Hey! I'm 87 years young and looking forward to more cooking fun in the kitchen with this shiny, new Frigidaire oven!

The installation was very easy. Oven seems to function well. I like the touch screen and the different options you can make on it. Nice and clean looking. Looks like it will be easy to clean without the bottom element exposed. Glad I bought it.

I bought Frigidaire because I thought it would be near identical to my existing Frigidaire oven in terms of installation. And while the physical size was acceptable, the electrical connections were in the opposite side and facing 180 deg away. So you can imagine I had to re-wire the outlet location in the wall. Pain in the butt. And with 40 amp wire in tight space it wasn™™t fun. As far as the oven itself it works fine. Only other comment is the display requires my wife and I to put on our reading glasses to use I™™m sure we™™ll get used to it but why?

I have loved the oven and the surprise lock out function. Our unit is low, under the island stovetop. Our 1 yr old twin grandkids have loved to push those buttons and turn knobs. With this new unit, the lock functions prevents them from turning it on BUT ALSO actually locks the door from opening! So Sweet. And the unlock is to type a code (which is displayed right there). It makes me feel like a secret agent ;) And it's nice to have full function of heating (the reason we had to get a new oven).

Love my new wall oven. The controls are easy to operate and setting the timer is easy to control. I am SUPER GRATEFUL that this is NOT a wi-fi controlled operation. The last wall oven I had did have the wifi control which was a MAJOR disappointment and a nuisance. The Frigidaire is easy to operate and figure out. Love it!

Overall, we™™re very happy with this oven - though we™™ve only had it for a couple weeks™¦. I like the touch-screen interface, although it can lead to a LOT of interaction to achieve your goal, when it could have been incorporated into a ™hot button™ that could take you directly to the function. When broiling, it doesn™™t give you a warm-up tracker or progress bar to show you when it gets to your desired temperature. Installation was really easy, though I ended up needing a trim piece to finish it in.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT buy a Frigidaire oven!!! I have experienced a number of poor manufacturer support departments, but nothing comes even close the absolutely horrendous experience I am having with Frigidaire support. After 3 months and at least 9 phone calls the wall oven still fails to hold the set temp. At times it runs 30-50 degrees low and the convection fan runs when it is not supposed to. Support created 4 service tickets to companies that do not service my city. On 3 occasions and 6 more weeks of waiting I was told my issue had been sent to the back office team for replacement review, but that turned out to be a lie. Now, support is back to demanding a second opinion. After yet another issued and cancelled service ticket, support finally found another service company that would come to my city, BUT Frigidaire pulled the ticket because Frigidaire refused to pay mileage (approx. $75, REALLY???). I am ready to remove the oven and dump it in the trash and buy some other brand.
