All I can say is... AWESOME! Granted I've had the late models of this one, but I'm staying faithful and I'll continue on. This bad boy cools a room really FAST, and it comes with automatic shut-off when the room reaches it's temperature, instead having the A/C running all day and night long. I know they have other models with Wi-Fi, those don't fit my wall sleeve, but this one does. I'm just hoping that when they upgrade this one, that it will finally come with Wi-Fi, since that's all it's really missing.

I went without air conditioning for two weeks before I decided to purchase. So glad I did! I like the ECO and AUTO settings and summer is much more enjoyable. My only wish is that things would last longer than they do; it seems like such an environmental quagmire. My previous Frigidaire air conditioner only last 5 years.

Bought this to replace an earlier 14000 BTU Frigidaire through the wall model that worked well for 17 years. They don't build 'em like they used to. This Air Conditioner is USELESS. I run it all day long and it won't lower the temperature by even one degree! (Room temperature 82 degrees. Outside temperature reportedly mid 80s.) After a few minutes it stops blowing cold air and is just the fan, no cooling. After a while, condenser comes on and blows cold air for a few minutes and then back to fan only. Tried all the settings. No improvement. Professionally installed, so not user error.

I've only had this unit for a week, but it has been cooling my space very nicely in ninety degree weather. The noise level is similar to other units I've had. This is one of a very few 14,000 BTU AC units that fit in the older smaller wall sleeves in my condo. The only negative is the remote only shows you the room temperature, not the AC's settings.

We had an older model of this unit that had heat too, but didn't need the heat feature any more, so got this one. Pros: cools excellently, good install instructions (listen to them about the rear grill!!), and plenty of foam and accessories for any install situation. We have an apartment in NYC with very strong drafts (due to the building's central roof fan suction), so bought high density 3/4"x1" foam on Amazon to help seal the AC and stop those drafts; works perfectly.Cons: the remote control doesn't send all the statuses every button press like our old model, so it doesn't integrate as well with Sensibo (it can get out of sync). For such a high-BTU unit maybe this is understood, but there isn't really a "low" setting for the fans. I get it, we can't have the thing freezing up due to the coils being too cold and developing ice, so there has to be airflow, but definitely keep in mind you don't want this thing in a small bedroom and expect gentle cooling :)Also, this thing cools best when the cold air points up at the ceiling.

This AC replaced an older Fedders model. Installation was very straightforward. The unit performs well at cooling and the noise level is lower than to AC is replaced. Also the remote control is handy. Recommended if you need to replace an old AC.

I had an old Frigidaire room air conditioner in my living room and it lasted for more than 20 years. At the end of last summer when I turned it on I heard the compressor in that unit stop working, the fan worked but the compressor gave out. As a result I was in the market for a new unit. I took the winter to shop around the internet an read reviews on just about all the air conditioner units available to me. I knew I wanted something more powerful that the unit that I had as it seemed unable to keep the whole living room cool. After my search I decided to stick with a Frigidaire because I believe they're the best well made and stand the test of time. I bought the 14,000 btu model as I have a big area to cool. This unit fits me because it's powerful and will do the Job needed. The unit came with everything needed for installation, the foam padding to seal the sleeve, the ground wire and a new rear sleeve cover and it was easy to install. The last thing is that this machine is much quieter that the old one and that makes a big difference for me. The one thing I feel I have to mention is the unit is more expensive than a lot of the others I looked at, but the quality is there and in the end you get what you pay for. As I said the Frigidaire air conditioner it replaced was around 20 years old and I didn't see any of the other air conditioners I search for come close to that. In the end I'm very happy with my purchase and I would think you would be too.

This model is smaller than the previous one. It is through the wall, and the size of the hole in my wall has not changed. Was able to fill in the extra space without much problem. The unit arrived with the top left edge crumpled which does not seem to affect its operation. It is powerful and puts out a lot of cold. Is twice as noisy as the earlier model. Final suggestion, demonstrate the plug configuration in the online catalog. This is critical. Despite all this, I recommend this AC as overall it is good and I trust the brand.

Worst Experience ever!!!!Despite 2-Day shipping guaranty if purchased by 11am, A/C was shipped a week later. I was traveling and when I returned I found and it was 92 degrees, I found the wrong size/type unit had been shipped. After being passed around to cs at Frigidaire and on hold for 1.33 minutes, I was told my return request was outside of the 14 day return period so nothing they could do. While I like the way this AC cools the room, I must say that the controls on the unit are tiny and difficult to see unless I'm leaning down to look at it. This is not a window unit. It's a sleeve unit that goes into the wall.
